The original screenshots use the Chinese interface. The instructions below describe the same steps in English.
Required tool: Dism++
This guide applies to both third-party and official Windows PE images.
If PE already recognizes your storage, USB devices, touchpad and keyboard, do not add unnecessary drivers. Extra drivers may cause a blue screen during startup.
For an Arm PE image, use the Arm build of Dism++ on an Arm computer. Mixing architectures may cause errors; the Arm build should not be used to install drivers for an x86 system.
If you do not have the device’s driver files, export them with Dism++ first. Do not substitute an EXE driver installer for the exported driver files. Skip the export if you already have the files; otherwise, refer to the second screenshot in Step 4.
Step 2
Step 3
Step 4
Select the image labeled “WinNT ARM64” at the top, open the driver management section, choose the option to add drivers, and select the folder containing your exported driver files.
Wait for driver import to finish. When saving the modified image, do not accidentally append it to the original boot.wim. If you extracted the ISO, remove the old boot.wim from that working folder before saving the replacement there, or save to a separate empty folder. Keep your original download as a backup.
