To keep version numbers easier to manage, BYDJ PE is no longer provided as a separate ISO image, only as a ZIP. After downloading and extracting it, you can use the installer inside to create an ISO.

Before use, be sure to read “BYDJ PE Installer: What You Need to Know” in the Help documentation and turn off all antivirus software as instructed. Otherwise PE may not work properly, and the system boot could even be damaged.

How to download from Tencent Weiyun at full speed

Transfer the file via mobile QQ

Downloading directly from Weiyun may be speed-limited. Transferring the file through mobile QQ usually lets you use your full bandwidth:

  1. Open the Weiyun link, sign in, and save the file to your own Weiyun storage.
  2. Open QQ on your phone and go to the “My Computer” chat (or a chat with your own secondary account), so you don’t bother anyone else.
  3. Tap the “+” next to the input box, then choose “File” in the panel that appears.
  4. Tap “Weiyun” (微云) at the top right of the file list, select the file you just saved, and send it.
  5. Once it is sent, open the file directly in QQ to download it.
